Christmas

Christmas was pretty laid back this year.  We've all been sick so we didn't venture out much.  Sam had a cold that caused him to spit up all his food so he stayed home the entire time.  Clay got trucks and planes from Santa (just what he asked for) and it even snowed!

Samuel Lane

Our sweet baby boy, Samuel Lane, was born on Monday October 25th @ 6:05 p.m.  He was 7 lbs 1 oz and 19.5".  Clay is so excited about having a little brother.  We are so blessed to have 2 beautiful children.  More pictures to come...

Clay's First Real Haircut

So we finally did it.  Clay got his first real haircut last weekend.  Maybe now people will stop calling him a girl.  He had to sit in Ben's lap and he insisted on playing with the hair dresser's spray bottle, but overall he did great.  Sorry...I don't have any pictures of his new haircut posted just yet.

Corn Dawgs

Corn Dawgs is known for their large corn mazes but we had more fun doing all the other activities...especially since we got lost in the corn maze ;)

Clay and I are typically rushing out the door every morning.  This day I decided to take a few moments to relax and read some airplane magazines with Clay.

Clay visited the park with Granddaddy and Mimi a few days ago. The static electricity was a little crazy that day. Haha!

Myrtle Beach

We originally planned to go to Destin this year but due to the oil spill we changed our plans a few weeks before.  We stayed in a condo right on the beach this year.  Phil, Mindy, Austin & Gabriel were just a few floors above us.  We spent most of our days at the beach and pool.  Clay loves the jacuzzi and the lazy river.  The pier was only a quarter of a mile away so Ben went fishing almost everyday.  Mindy and I went shopping at the outlets one afternoon.  It was a very laid back and relaxing vacation.

Birthday Parties

It seems like we've spent this entire summer going to birthday parties.  Clay is so popular that he gets invited to one almost every weekend.  Jonah, a friend from church, had his party at the fire station.  All the kids got to sit in the trucks.  Clay loved it!  This was his favorite party by far.

July 24th

July 24th is a big day around our house since it's Clay and Ben's birthday. That morning I took the boys to Krispy Kreme. Later we went to the pool for a couple of hours. After their naps, Pop Pop stopped by for a visit and that night we went to Sho Gun for hibachi. Here are some pictures from a small party we had at Granny's house on Wednesday and a few from their actual birthday. It's hard to believe we now have a 2 year old.

4th of July

We spent July 4th at Norris Lake with my good friend Margaret. I didn't get an opportunity to take any pictures except this one of Clay in the car. He loves slushies! We had a good time at the lake and enjoyed all the good food.

Brothers/Cousins

We met Jake, Amber, and Gavin for lunch the other day. Both Gavin and Clay are big fans of Mexican food.
