Snow

We got a few inches of snow last weekend. Clay wasn't sure about it at first, but he sure didn't want to go back inside. Bella, our dog, loved it!

Cleaning Is Fun?

So we found out a few months ago that Clay loves to clean. He enjoys sweeping and mopping but his favorite is vacuuming. He gets so excited every time I open the closet and he gets a glimpse of the vacuum. He has a toy vacuum that Nana gave him but he seems to know the difference. A few nights ago we decided to let him play with the “real” vacuum. I wonder if he’ll enjoy cleaning this much when he’s a teenager ;)

Kailyn's 4th Birthday

Today was Kailyn's 4th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. Clay loved the toddler rides. He would cry when we took him out. It's hard to believe that Kailyn is already 4 years old. It seems like she was born just last year. She has grown up so fast and turned into such a pretty little girl. Her Daddy's going to have to keep a close eye on her ;)

Ben's Surgery

For those of you that don’t know, Ben had surgery on his left shoulder on December 30th. They operated for close to 3 hours which was quite a bit longer than they anticipated. The damage to his ligaments was much worse than what his MRI had led doctors to believe. We’re so glad the surgery is over and Ben is healing up nicely. He’s been in a sling for the past 2 weeks but we’re hoping after next week that he will not have to wear it anymore. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers!
